We visited the Digital Festival 2019

Published on by Jonas Schmid

Due to good partnerships we sometimes have the opportunity to attend exciting events. Find out what we have to say about the Digital Festival 2019 Zurich.

Alex Boner & Savin Niederer from our engineering team visited the digital festival at Schiffbau, Zurich last week. Over 3000 visitors attended the event to learn from others in workshops or listen to the speakers on stage.

Speeches and workshops also took place in the premises of the ZHdK (Zürcher Hochschule der Künste) and the Technopark was quickly converted into a hacker's cellar. Almost 600 hackers took part in the annual HackZürich Hackathon.

"What did you like about it?"

I asked our two engineers what they liked most about #DiFe19. This where their answers:

"As a business, you have specific ideas about an IoT solution. The approach for a possible implementation should be well thought out. I found it exciting to look at it from another perspective, as I normally deal with the programming of these solutions."

"The workshops were very exciting because the topics could be viewed from many perspectives by the people present, from different fields of activity."
